Did I already say I love Anthropology?
Well, I do love Anthropology! Why? Because anthropology message is: Hey! Your system of knowledge is only one description of the world! It is not "The" reality!
When you study other cultures, you are studying a description different from that of yours. May be, in the gaps between cultures, there is a chance for a little, mysterious beam of light!
EthnoMystery is barely a song. It is more like a calling: Is there something out there?

Mallorca Nendo Dango
I have been using lately this approach to composition I call "sonic ecosystems" meaning I treat sounds as seeds for another sounds that generate interacting and evolving soundscapes, much like in forest ecologies.
Everyday, I feel more and more inspired by the ideas and philosophy of Permaculture and sustainability, not only in my personal life, but in my music and designs.
So, this ambient-contemporary piece is dedicated to the permaculture inspiring figure, Masanobu Fukuoka and his Nendo Dango (Seed Balls), the isle of Mallorca (our new home) and Mandy, Julio, and the other great fellows at the Permamed's PDC that I am participating in.

Street Life
This is an ambient piece made "by the book" with one of the most effective kind of sounds you can use: electric piano... Layers of electric pianos! And layers of echoes and space around them! And, of course, there is only one little twist here and there...

Prepared and Sustained
This is a contemporary music piece. I find myself closer and closer to contemporary composing concepts and, at the same time, ideas and techniques related with ecology (of sound!) and sustainability seem to be taking the lead in my mind. Here you will find piano, flutes, harp, clarinet, percussion and electronics used freely as elements of a sonic landscape. I guess you better listen to it and find out for yourself!
